For my multi-wheel project, I decided to make a frankenpot which is three or more wheel-thrown pieces put together. I threw three pieces out of vashon white and connected them. I then decided to try using red and porcelain slip to create layers and then carved lines moving towards the top of the project for texture. I glazed the inside black as well as the top and bottom part. I think it emphasizes the middle part with the slip. I plan to work more with slip. The way the slip layered for this one caused cracks and a slight air bubble. I want to avoid this in future projects.

This is a vase I made on the wheel that turned out a little off-center. I decided to keep it anyways and use it as a glaze test. I decided to use shadow green, metallic brown, and white to make it run. I covered the whole project with shadow green and just put metallic brown around the top part on the inside and outside. I then put white over the whole project to make it run. Although the metallic brown color didn't show up as much as I thought it would, I still really like how it turned out. It is more subtle and I think looks a little better this way. I am definitely going to use this glaze combination more.
This is a vase I made on the wheel with red and seamix clay. I carved lines on the side for something more to it. Since I carved the lines, there is some texture to this project. I didn't do anything to the inside or the lip though, I left that alone. I really like how this one turned out. I just glazed it with clear, it seems to have more of the mixed colors showing up than usual. I do want to throw more things with this mixed clay because I really like how it turns out.
This is the large bowl I made and footed on the wheel. I like how it and the foot ring turned out. I wanted to try mixing colors and decided on using all of the blues. I used Sydney blue, dark blue, and cobalt as well as black with white. The outside glaze didn't run as much as I thought it would, I guess I need to make sure it goes down as far as I want too.
These are three bowls I made and footed on the wheel. These were a bit of a glaze test, I decided to glaze them with black and forest green. I believe that I painted the glaze on. The inside has black and the green color, it didn't mix how I thought it would though. I think I might have needed to put more of the glaze on it. I also want to work on shaping my bowls more, these didn't have the shape I wanted and are very thin. I will work on making more bowls.
