This is another frankenpot I made from seamix and then painted red slip on it. It is three pieces. I glazed the outside with clear and the inside has dark cobalt with some white. It is about 13.5 inches tall. It is a little heavy on the bottom so I should work on pulling up the base more or trimming it some more.

This is a cup similar to the other one posted, it is made of vashon white and red clay. Since the red clay is seen better on the outside than the inside, I glazed the inside with dark cobalt. It has a foot ring and is just glazed clear on the outside.
Originally this was going to be a mug but I didn't make a handle and now it's a cup. It's made of vashon white and red clay. The mixed clay showed up more on the inside so I glazed the outside with dark cobalt. It has a foot ring. I wish the glaze had been a little thicker and ran a little more to the foot ring.
This is a chunkier vase I made out of seamix, yellow seamix, and red clay. I was trying to make it into a rounder vase with a thinner neck, it wasn't really working out how I wanted but this is a nice shape too! It's a little heavy on the bottom but does have a foot ring. The yellow seamix looks like it turns into a similar color as the red clay. I like how it is just around the rim and reaches down. I was hoping for more throughout the project when I threw it but it's looks good this way too. I glazed the whole project in clear. I am planning to use stamps for my initials from now. In my opinion, it looks better than just scratching my name into and makes the piece feel more put together/professional. I was considering making my own signature stamp out of clay but haven't yet.
This is a smaller vase I made with seamix and red clay. I really like the shape of this one. It has a foot ring on it but also feels heavy on the bottom. I'll be working on fixing that with my next projects. I glazed the outside with clear but added dark cobalt to the inside. It looks a lot like black but with a blueish tint. It did drip a little off the rim, which I didn't really want but that's okay. It's still one of my favorites.
I really like how this vase turned out, especially the painted line of red slip. I was expecting it to be a solid line, but I actually really like the way it looks painted. I made this out of seamix and red slip. There is also red slip on the lip/rim. I was able to foot this project but it still feels very heavy on the bottom. That is one thing I need to work on with larger projects is getting all of the way up. I think I am still leaving a lot that could be pulled up, or maybe I need to trim more. I'll be working on that. I glazed the outside with clear, but decided to have metallic brown on the inside to go with the brown color of the red clay.
This is a wide-rimmed bowl made of seamix and red clay. When it first came out of the bisque, the mixed-colors didn't show up as much as I had hoped. I was still experimenting with how much of the seamix and red I should mix. Since the outside look mostly white, I decided to glaze it with shadow green and metallic brown. I used white on the outside to blend the colors. The inside I glazed with clear. After being fired in the glaze kiln, the mixed colors on the inside showed up more. It has a foot ring and is a fairly large bowl.
This is a seamix and red clay "swirl" vase I made. This is one of my favorite's right now. I really like this one and how it turned out. I used a different way of mixing the two clays which was cutting out chunks off the centered clay, placing red in it, and then centering a little more before opening. I love how the mixed-colors showed up on this vase. It doesn't show up on the inside though, but that might be because I add the pieces before opening rather than after. Unfortunately, there was some issues with the heating in the kiln and it wasn't fired completely/didn't reach the temperature it needed to. Due to this, it cracked a little in the glaze kiln. It looks like it's just the surface though and doesn't crack all the way through. There is a foot ring and it is glazed with clear.
This is a mug I made a little bit ago out of vashon white. The inside is glazed with just white, but the outside is black with white on the top half. The glaze reminds me of a night sky with all of the stars. I like the handle and how it fits when you hold it as well as the shape of the mug. I wish the glaze had ran a little more to reach the foot ring though.
This is a vase that was originally going to be the base of a frankenpot but the other pieces were to heavy so it became a vase instead! I wasn't able to foot it but I was able to trim the base. I glazed it with shadow green, metallic brown, and white. I really like how those colors mixed and the way it dripped.
