This vase is inspired by the teardrop style, which is a round vase with a thin, cylinder shaped neck. I still haven't made it look exactly how I wanted too, but I am really expected about this one. I wasn't able to make the neck/lip how I wanted from the original piece of clay I had so I made this one into a frankenpot. It's just two pieces because I wanted the top part but couldn't make it with the clay I had before. I was able to foot it and now it is drying. I am considering glazing it with shadow green and then dark cobalt on the top half so hopefully it'll mix. I've seen some projects that I think have done that and I love the results. I want to do my own tester first though. I might leave the inside white, I usually glaze the insides black but I think a lighter color would be nice.
