When I was making this project, I had intended to make a teardrop from one piece of clay but was not able to make the top how I wanted. So, I threw another piece and attached it the same day. At this point, I wasn't able to attach pieces when they were completely wet so I waited until after school to use the heat gun. The two pieces lined up a lot better than my other pieces and I am really glad about that. The bottom is a little heavy, again I need to work on pulling up the base. I was able to foot this project. I glazed it with shadow green, dark cobalt, and white. I love how it turned out. I was hoping it would more of a solid color. It does look nice as an ombre type effect, it also allows the focus to be on the top part of the vase.
